Athens Workshops

We offer Workshops and Residencies throughout the year, inviting working industry professionals like April Cook (Broadway Dance Center), Dave Scott (You Got Served, Step Up 2: The Streets), Brady Michaels (RISK Contemporary Dance Company), and Gianna Myrie (ATL Falcons Cheerleaders) to share their expertise with our students. 

Dancefx also hosts monthly free, all-ages Community Classes focused on promoting the physical activity and community-wide connection that only dance can offer. Previous styles include but are not limited to: Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Burlesque, Ballroom, Ballet, and Stretching. Interested in sponsoring a Community Class? Private lessons are available for those seeking personalized instruction, tailored to individual goals and aspirations. We pride ourselves on cultivating a supportive and inclusive environment where dancers of all ages and levels can thrive. FREE COMMUNITY CLASSES

All community classes are free, and we’ll max out each class at 20 people. We will take registration at the door until the class is full, so pre-registration through the link above is recommended. Recommended apparel: In all classes, come in comfortable exercise clothes. Ballet tights, leotard, and shoes are welcome, but not required - socks are an appropriate footwear. Sneakers or bare feet are appropriate for Hip-Hop and Burlesque, or anything else!
